About The Project

Most recently, Snyder completed the downsizing of the Arcadis office space from a single tenant per floor to a multi-tenant space on one floor. Due to the new architectural layout of the office space, a new entryway was required to access the amended space. The Snyder team, demolished walls and re-framed/rebuilt them to create multiple workspaces. Doors needed to be re-framed in their new locations and new finishes were installed. There were also minor mechanical and electrical upgrades made within the new rooms. With so many companies offering their employees permanent remote work options, we think we’ll see more downsizing projects in the future.

“Snyder Building Construction is a fantastic partner for us. They have worked effectively and efficiently on all of our office projects in the Denver metro, with the downsizing of Arcadis as the most recent project. For Arcadis, Snyder handled any shifting logistics with ease, including the construction of a brand-new entryway to accommodate the change in the office layout relative to the new downsized footprint. I highly recommend them to anyone renovating or downsizing their office space.”

About The Project

Ghost kitchens are facilities where individual restauranteurs and caterers can rent kitchen space to prepare their products for online orders and food delivery services, without the need for a full brick-and-mortar restaurant. These kitchens are designed solely for food production and delivery, with no on-site dining area or customer seating, focusing exclusively on takeout and delivery services.

Maker Kitchens is a loyal client of Snyder Building Construction, and the 7th and Federal project marked the first negotiated project for this partnership. The project involved renovating a 9,775-square-foot building, originally constructed in 1962, to create 22 new individual kitchens. Along with extensive MEP upgrades, the building required significant structural repairs to reinforce its foundation and cosmetic updates to improve its appearance and appeal. Maker Kitchens officially opened in April of 2024.

As with all ghost kitchen projects, the building required modernization and upgrades to the MEP infrastructure, and this project was no exception. Significant structural improvements were made to support the 19 roof penetrations and the added equipment load. Maker Kitchens Park Hill officially opened in August of 2024, providing a state-of-the-art kitchen facility for local entrepreneurs.

About The Project

The Intelsat 10M Antenna 27 project involved several site drainage improvements, as well as a complex structural pad and electrical / communications scope. This new antenna was added to an existing antenna farm, requiring close communication with the client and coordination with existing underground infrastructure to prevent any disruptions or outages to ongoing operations. The antenna pad is 4 feet thick, placed over 8 inches of void form, and supported by five caissons. A key challenge in constructing the 10M dish pad was setting the 8-foot template of 24 bolts, each 4 feet long and 1-1/8 inches thick, in precise alignment with true north and ensuring they were perfectly plumb. Seventeen 2”-4” conduits were installed to interconnect the antenna with the communications building and on-pad controls.
