Snyder Building Construction Completes New Fast-Casual Dining Location
February 22, 2022
Snyder Building Construction is excited to announce the completion of the new Teriyaki Madness location in Broomfield, CO. Specializing in “huge” Japanese style teriyaki bowls made with fresh, whole ingredients, Teriyaki Madness believes that you should always have a home cooked meal even if you’re not at home. This 1,300 square-foot, fast-casual dining experience was taking over an existing building, which required a full gut and remodel to complete the tenant finish. Snyder completed demolition of the existing interior space and completed a build-out per the franchise specifications.
The scope included efficiency upgrades like new roof top units, new electrical service with LED lighting, new kitchen equipment, and tankless water heaters. The selection of tankless water heaters is an atypical specification for the restaurant industry and helped address unique space constraints as well as efficiency goals for the project.
Current supply chain issues were a challenge throughout the project. Important equipment including the exhaust hood for the grill were delivered weeks late. However, Snyder worked closely with the city of Broomfield, the client, and the subcontractors to complete the project with efficient timing.
The project was designed by national architecture firm, CSHQA. Based in Idaho with an office in Colorado, CSHQA specializes in multiple markets including retail. Their approach works closely with the brand to create an experience that also meets corporate standards as they did with Teriyaki Madness.
“We recently completed our first Teriyaki Madness project with Snyder Building Construction, and it was a great experience. We appreciate the relationships we were able to build throughout the process, and the expertise that Snyder Building brought to the table was very valuable. Despite the challenges of current supply chain issues, Snyder Building collaborated efficiently with our team and the city to bring our project to completion. We look forward to working with them again in the future,” said Mark Friese, franchise owner.
