About The Project
Ghost kitchens are facilities where individual restauranteurs and caterers can rent kitchen space to prepare their products for online orders and food delivery services, without the need for a full brick-and-mortar restaurant. These kitchens are designed solely for food production and delivery, with no on-site dining area or customer seating, focusing exclusively on takeout and delivery services.
Maker Kitchens is a loyal client of Snyder Building Construction, and the 7th and Federal project marked the first negotiated project for this partnership. The project involved renovating a 9,775-square-foot building, originally constructed in 1962, to create 22 new individual kitchens. Along with extensive MEP upgrades, the building required significant structural repairs to reinforce its foundation and cosmetic updates to improve its appearance and appeal. Maker Kitchens officially opened in April of 2024.
